Private Tented Safari Camping Experience in Kumana
2 nights/ 3 days
A distinctively rustic and unscripted experience, living immersed in Sri Lankan wildlife - is what you can expect with Explorer by Mahoora, across the country inside the National Parks and Nature Reserves. Our Private Tented Safari Camp in Kumana with its rich wetlands bound by a typically dry forest, is an enriching adventure.
Home to the iconic Sri Lankan elephant, the bashful sloth bear and the imposing Sri Lankan leopard, Kumana is a beautiful Park that boasts of a diversely rich landscape of animals, bird life and several lagoons.
The magic of the Park does not end with sunset. Under clear skies and the chorus of nocturnal insects, a campfire and traditional flame torches will set the scene, as you await a memorable evening.
Prepared on site, a meticulously crafted menu is served with a fine range of beverages.
Our dedication to detail extends to Explorer by Mahoora accommodation, with a spacious tent ((15.6’x8’) serviced with a living area, bedroom and an en-suite bathroom, along with a private veranda/porch outside the tent.
